Registrations commence for Punjab Kings IPL tickets in Chandigarh

Punjab Kings fans eagerly anticipating the Indian Premier League (IPL) season can now secure their tickets as the franchise has announced ticketing details for the upcoming matches.

Early access registration

Registration for early access tickets opened on March 5 at 5 pm on the website https://insider.in/tata-ipl-2024-punjab-kings-sign-up-for-early-access-to-home-games/event. Early ticket purchases will be available starting from March 8. 

For the general public, ticket sales will commence on PayTM Insider from March 9 onwards. Punjab Kings will play their first home match against Delhi Capitals at the PCA stadium in Mullanpur on March 23.

Historic match at Mullanpur Stadium

This match will mark the inaugural IPL game at the Mullanpur stadium, now named Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Cricket Stadium. The stadium has been in construction since 2008 with the intention to host various cricket formats including ODIs, Tests, and T20s. Despite several delays, the stadium's construction was recently completed, paving the way for the much-anticipated IPL fixture.

Previously, the March 23 game was scheduled to be held at the PCA stadium in Mohali. However, upon the request of the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) relocated it to the Mullanpur stadium. Punjab Kings have already initiated their team preparatory camp at the Mullanpur stadium in anticipation of the upcoming matches.
